Well, it was a great weekend in the great vastness of West Texas. That is until we found out Lithia Toyota of Odessa did not replace our lug lock key on our last supposed tire rotation. Supposed because we found out the last time they rotated our tires was 14 months ago!! Lithia's Gen Mgr Justin Slaughter, informed us that often the mechanics get rushed by customers and therefore do not perform all the services you are charged for or all the services they have checked off on you warranty card. BIG MISTAKE!!!

But, my post was the beauty and excitement of West TX. We were very excited about getting to meet John Wells and to see his home and to see the ideals that, for now, I only dream of. John is a very intelligent and charismatic guy and seems to thoroughly enjoy the solitude of his new home. I wonder at times though, whether he sometimes misses the hustle-and-bustle of the big city.

Mojito had so much excitement meeting John and getting to roam with no fences, that he decided to lift his leg on a creosotebush and ended up falling into it and paying a price. The condiment manufacturer "Heinz" makes a German sponge cake in a can called "Spotted Dick". There are no spots in the cake that I ever saw, yet it aptly fit Mojito's condition after falling into that thorny bush.

And since we were unable to fix our own flat, we thankfully got the company of the most courteous and professional towing service I have ever known. If you are ever in need of a great towing service in that area, call Peery Holmsley of Sheffield Towing Service from Sheffield, TX @ 432-836-4623.
